Challenge
What are the goals of the product team when entering a new market without a leader and without the rules of the game?
Make a product that you like. The rest is secondary.
What we did
- We create low-fi & hi-fi prototypes because it is important to evoke emotions in this area. We made it fun to use.
- We run the scripts for the corridor user testing.
But...
- None of the 10 user scenarios had passed the corridor testing successfully. I considered myself good usability and visual expert. But overvalued.
- We extremely overestimated the coolness of our decisions. Two months of prototypes, design-thinking, and empathy just vanished.
Move on
Then we synthesized the data we received and began to create the next version. And so it goes round and round until the final version.
